Beginning in the early 1980s, a limited number of eggs were collected each year and placed in restored wetlands across the country. The young swans returned to those wetlands to breed, helping establish new wild populations. Today, more than 40,000 trumpeter swans once again live in the lower 48, and wetlands that had been silent for a century once again echo with their unmistakable trumpet-like calls.This hoodie helps fund the planting of 30 trees through Trees for the Future.
