The American Avocet has an unusual feeding technique. The upturned beak that they are known for is used to sweep the sediment as they walk through shallow waters. This uncovers aquatic invertebrates, worms, crustaceans and insects to eat. They are sometimes called "Blue-shanks" because they are known for their long blue-grey legs. The rust color is seasonal, to me it looks like they are wearing a bit of rouge for breeding season!

This hoodie helps fund the planting of 30 trees through Trees for the Future. Each purchase supports farming families as they restore land damaged by deforestation by growing productive forest gardens.

Printed on the Stanley/Stella Drummer 2.0, this organic hoodie is designed for comfortable layering through changing seasons. The regular fit with dropped shoulders creates a relaxed silhouette that's equally at home on a forest trail, around town, or beside the campfire.

Made from 80% certified organic combed ringspun cotton and 20% recycled polyester (100% organic cotton for European fulfillment), it has a soft feel, durable construction, and thoughtful details including a double-layer hood, self-fabric drawcord, embroidered eyelets, reinforced seams, and ribbed cuffs and hem for everyday comfort. The blank hoodie is sourced from Bangladesh.

This garment has a regular fit with slightly dropped shoulders for a relaxed, comfortable feel.
We recommend comparing the measurements in the size guide to a favorite hoodie you already own. Lay it flat and measure the chest width and length for the closest match.
